Cultural Olympiad coverage from 主播大秀 Cymru Wales
The 主播大秀 National Orchestra of Wales will be taking part in Music Nation, a weekend of live music events taking place across the UK on 3 and 4 March 2012, with related performances and community activities in the week leading up to it as part of the build-up to the Games.
As part of Music Nation the Orchestra will be working with ensembles from across Wales, including a collaboration with more than 250 young singers from Welsh county choirs performing a new commission for Music Nation by Welsh composer Karl Jenkins.
主播大秀 Radio Wales will be covering the Cultural Olympiad events in Wales as part of the weekly arts programme The Radio Wales Arts Show, presented by Nicola Heywood Thomas; and 主播大秀 Radio Cymru will be covering Cultural Olympiad events in the weekly arts strand Stiwdio, presented by Kate Crockett.
There will also be coverage in the regular daytime magazine programmes on both 主播大秀 Radio Wales and 主播大秀 Radio Cymru.
主播大秀 One Wales’ flagship evening news programme, Wales Today, will also be providing coverage of Cultural Olympiad events in Wales along with coverage of the events on 主播大秀 Wales’ early evening news programme for S4C, Newyddion.
