Your Paintings
Launched earlier this year by the 主播大秀 in partnership with the Public Catalogue Foundation, Your Paintings is an interactive resource and online catalogue that aims to include every oil painting in the UK national collection.
To tie in with the 主播大秀’s London Season, bbc.co.uk/yourpaintings will feature a special London Guided Tour of selected works from the 200,000 paintings in this publicly owned collection.
The paintings are drawn from public collections in every part of the country, big and small, from the most famous to the completely unknown. They include the UK’s national museums and galleries, regional collections and the National Trust, as well as less obvious public collections such as those in universities, council buildings, hospitals and fire stations.
