Quincy Jones - In Concert
This year the iconic Quincy Jones turns 85 and to celebrate his birthday he will be performing alongside special guests and a full symphony orchestra for a concert held at The O2 on Wednesday 27 June.
Not only will there be onstage conversation, but this one-off show will be directed by the acclaimed producer, songwriter and composer himself. The orchestra will perform stunning arrangements of Jones' best loved hits, conducted by Jules Buckley, and performed by artists such as Paul Weller, Mick Hucknall, Andreas Varady, Beverly Knight and many more.
In addition to celebrating Quincy Jones' birthday the concert will also pay tribute to songwriter, producer and musician Rod Temperton who passed away in 2016. Together, Jones and Temperton were not only friends but made one of the most successful musical duos in history.
