European Championships
The first ever European Championships begin today. Taking place in Glasgow and Berlin the event brings together the existing European Championships of athletics, swimming, cycling, rowing, triathlon, gymnastics and golf into one exciting new multi-sport event - with the 主播大秀 bringing full coverage across TV, radio and online.
Hazel Irvine is in Glasgow to introduce the best of the day’s early action, with Great Britain’s Olympic and world swimming champion Adam Peaty the headline name in the pool.
Peaty goes in the heats of his pet event, the 100m breaststroke, while the morning’s rowing includes men’s and women’s semi-finals in the pair and four. It’s also the preliminary stage of the team event in synchronised swimming.
