The longest-running children’s television show in the world marks 60 incredible years on the 主播大秀 with a one-hour live special ‘Big Birthday’ extravaganza from its studios at Media City in Salford.
Six decades after it first aired, Blue Peter welcomes back past presenters to celebrate with makes, games and a look back on the classic Blue Peter moments. There are presenter challenges of epic proportions as Lindsey attempts to fly solo a hot air balloon in the Arctic Circle, and Radzi boards an aircraft carrier to create a massive birthday message, which will see the famous Blue Peter ship riding the ocean waves in all its glory.
Life-long Blue Peter fan Ed Sheeran is in for a very special surprise when he is presented with a Gold Blue Peter badge, and there’s music from Jonas Blue, HRVY, The Vamps and Sophie Ellis-Bextor with the 主播大秀 Philharmonic Orchestra.
Finally, viewers will get to see what they chose to go inside the Diamond Time Capsule before it is sealed in The National Archives which, as a non-governmental record, is a very rare event, and there’ll be more details about the return of the hugely successful Bring And Buy Sales in support of 主播大秀 Children In Need this November.
