Waking up to the enormity of his decision, Peter (Toby Jones) calls his brother Barry (Toby Jones) for advice.
Kayla (Erin Kellyman) is unimpressed when she realises that she is expected to help with their new guest.
After another home visit from the community health nurse, Peter is told that it’s not safe for his mother to live alone. Troubled by this - and the woman staying in his house - Peter goes to work, driving Fran’s (Claire Rushbrook) son Kieran (Wills Whittington) and his friend Pippa (Tilly Winford) to the hydrotherapy pool.
