Hundreds of performers, 4 days of mega shows and incredible music. How do you make sure you get the absolute most out of your Glastonbury experience? Take some advice from the likes of George Ezra, Clara Amfo and the one and only Craig David who fill us in on how to survive and thrive during this year's Glastonbury whether you're heading to the farm or watching from the comfort of your own home.

1. Remember less is more - Craig David

Always make sure you look slicker than your average self. Not everyone can get away with just good grooming and a nice pair of wellies. Planning and packing all those ultimate festival outfits is one of the biggest challenges. So whether you want to keep it simple like Craig David or bring more outfits than Katy Perry just make sure you get the look you want covered for the whole weekend and pack for rain or shine. Oh, and make sure you can carry it all and fit it in your tent.

2. Plan ahead - Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa was lucky enough to catch Coldplay last year, but seeing all of your favourites is never that easy. Firstly, study the line up and pick out the acts you just can't miss, there has to be a master plan if you’re going to squeeze Liam Gallagher, Kano, Katy Perry and Solange all in to your schedule. With so many amazing artists there are bound to be clashes aplenty so unless you have a teleporter you’re going to have to make some tough choices. Luckily you can use to plan ahead and make sure you don't miss a thing!

3. Take an old school phone - Clara Amfo

We’ve all been there, you’ve only got 5% battery but you’ve got to meet three friends at different places all at the same time. There is nothing like Glasto to remind you that sometimes your state of the art smartphone just won’t cut it – not with all those pics to take and video clips to post. So it’s probably time to roll out the brick phone back-up and once that's sorted the challenge will be finding your friends!

4. Food is your fuel, food is your friend - Little Dragon

For Little Dragon there is nothing better than a baked potato and a nice cup of English tea at Glastonbury. The key here is to keep your energy up and your stomach filled, enabling you to get the most out of your experience and make sure you can dance, rave and rock through to the early hours.

5. Get down with the underground

Don't just stick to what you know; its like a big magical maze of music, comedy, circus and fun, you never know what might be round the next corner. Before you head to Pilton or become immersed in the 主播大秀's extensive coverage be sure to swat up on some of the performers you may not of heard of. Not sure where to start? Annie Nightingale's got you covered having pulled together a Playlist of some of her favourite artists on the 2017 bill.

And if you're really looking to journey into the unknown then head down to the 主播大秀 Music Introducing stage to discover an array of artists who could turn out to be your new favourite. You never know, they might even end up on the Pyramid Stage one day.

6. Listen to your mates and don't do anything you'll regret

Choose your partner in crime wisely, like Thom Yorke for example. In this clip he reveals how he almost walked off stage during Radiohead's 1997 Glastonbury headline set. Thankfully guitarist Ed O'Brien was wise enough to know that Thom really should think twice and advised against it persuading him to stay and entertain the masses.

7. Get in the mood

Surely one of the best things to happen before Glastonbury is the build up right? Whether you're planning your festival viewing and listening from the comfort of your own home or you're packing your essentials to head to Pilton make sure this 主播大秀 Playlist is the soundtrack you're listening to.

8. Don't forget your wellies!

Whatever the weather the ultimate fashion accessory, which might just come in handy is a good old pair of wellies. Don't leave home without them!

9. Hydrate! - George Ezra

...and finally how to conquer those Glastonbury blues once Monday morning has dawned and the festival's been packed away? George Ezra's main tip, along with getting your favourite take-away's on speed dial, is to HYDRATE – "Always hydrate, hydrate my friend!" and this man knows this will be his third time performing at Glastonbury.

Despite being a seasoned performer, George, neglected to mention that one of the best known remedies for the Glastonbury Blues is binge watching all of the sets from the weekend on 主播大秀 iPlayer and here on the 主播大秀 Glastonbury site.
