is a fantastically rich nature reserve, largely due to its great variety of habitats.
Holkham is special for wildlife because of the great mix of habitats from
marshes, dunes and sand spits to wind exposed tide lines, creeks, and shaded pinewoods. | |  | We'll take you to some of our our diverse country

of wartime unexploded bombs which have been found around the reserve | | Essential

National Nature Reserve extends from Burnham Norton to Blakeney, covering about
4,000 hectares. The reserve is three miles west of Wells-next-the-Sea on the A149.
Three car parks linked by the Norfolk Coast Path. | | Getting
there: | The Norfolk Coasthopper bus service
runs from King's Lynn and Hunstanton to Sheringham and makes two stops at Holkham.
