Dan Black, Two Door Cinema Club, Camogie Lovers
Winners of the Irish JD set final, Dublin duo Camogie Lovers begin their support slot with gusto, with stand out track 'YKK' going down well with the crowd. Their style is difficult to compare to anybody at the moment - at a push, I guess they're not far off sounding like The Maccabees.

The majority are here for Two Door Cinema Club however, a three-piece from Bangor and have been making an huge impact with their single 'Something Good Can Work'

Armed with 'stick in your head for ages' guitar riffs and quirky lyrics, combined with an electro beat (courtesy of a drum machine), their set encourage a warm fuzzy feeling/big smile combo amongst an appreciative crowd.

'Cigarettes in the Theatre' sets out the stall and it's encouraging to see people singing along. 'Something Good Can Work' is an inevitable highlight while 'What You Know' has the crowd swaying along. 'Undercover Martyn' is the closing track and with that the band are off, but not before thanking everyone for their support. Consider this crowd won over, lads.

Paris based Londoner Dan Black has been creating quite a stir of late with single 'Alone'. His style has been described as "mixing the musical attributes of The Notorious B.I.G with a lost 80's sci-fi soundtrack". Sound interesting? It was.

With their rather attractive face paints (a la David Bowie) and their 'oh so cool' swagger, Dan Black and his band launch into 'Pumps', blowing this reviewer away. Ozzing confidence, the band dance and sing their way through a catalogue of excellent tracks such as 'Synphonies', 'I Love Life', 'Wonder', 'Alone', and closer 'Yours'.

A few more punters would have a made a lot more sense, but a memorable show none the less.
