What we need from you…

Being a reviewer means providing us with a couple of hundred words, and a photo where possible, whenever you've been to an event, seen a film or read a book that's made you come away feeling, well, anything - joy, sadness, amazement, anger, pity...

There are five areas in which we'd like to include your reviews: film, theatre, visual arts, music, and books. You can write reviews for just one of these areas, or all five if you wish!

What you get from us…

Writing reviews can be a good way to develop your writing style. It can also be a lot of fun. And if you're involved with a band of theatre group, for example, it's also a way of getting publicity.

As if that wasn't tempting enough, we are sometimes given free review tickets to events around the county, which we pass on to our regular reviewers. Alternatively, if there's a particular play, band or comedy gig you want to go to, and if you give us enough advance warning, we are sometimes able to request review tickets.
