Brian Alexander is to host a new monthly in depth feature in Sport on Five (weekdays, 7.00-10.00pm, 主播大秀 Radio Five Live) in the spring.

Alexander has wide experience in national newspapers, holding Sports Editor roles for the Mail on Sunday, The Sun and the Evening Standard.

The Sport on Five Report will build on his wide contacts.

The reports will look in depth at the key figures and issues in the industry.

Alexander - the original presenter of Five Live's Sportsweek - has already fronted flagship journalism for the network including a lengthy exclusive interview last year with the Prime Minister on the eve of the Olympics announcement in Singapore.
听
More recently Alexander interviewed FIFA President Sepp Blatter, obtained the first interview with Mark Palios after his resignation as FA Chief Executive and fronted critically acclaimed commemorative features on the Heysel and Bradford disasters.
