Bleak House, a Ö÷²¥´óÐã/WGBH and Boston/Deep Indigo Production for Ö÷²¥´óÐã One, has been nominated in the category of Best Mini-Series or Motion Picture made for Television in the Golden Globe Awards.

Gillian Anderson is shortlisted for her role as the captivating Lady Deadlock in the Best Performance by An Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.

Adapted by award-winning writer Andrew Davies, the ground-breaking twice-weekly, 14-part drama was produced by Nigel Stafford-Clark (The Way We Live Now, He Knew He Was Right).

Gideon's Daughter, a Ö÷²¥´óÐã America/TalkBack production for Ö÷²¥´óÐã One, garnered two acting nominations in the Mini-Series or Motion Picture made for Television for stars Bill Nighy and for Emily Blunt who is shortlisted in the supporting role category.

Written and directed by Stephen Poliakoff, Gideon's Daughter, was a companion piece to Friends & Crocodiles.

Multi-award-winning writer/director Stephen Poliakoff returns to Ö÷²¥´óÐã One in 2007 with a major new film. Currently entitled Poliakoff 2006, stars include Michael Gambon and Dame Maggie Smith.

Sophie Okonedo and Chiwetel Ejiofor are shortlisted in the Best Performance by an Actor and Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture made for Television. Toni Collette is nominated in the supporting role category.

Finally, Heroes, the new series from creator/writer Tim Kring (Crossing Jordan) - licensed by the Ö÷²¥´óÐã from NBC Universal International Television Distribution - is nominated in two categories: Best Television Series – Drama, and actor Masi Oka is shortlisted for Best Performance By An Actor in A Supporting Role in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.
