Ö÷²¥´óÐã

Following in the footsteps of her big sister, soap favourite Katherine Kelly, this week sees up-and-coming young actress Grace Kelly film her Doctors debut.

Grace has just completed two busy days filming for Episode 30, Out Of Control, which is due to be aired on Ö÷²¥´óÐã One on Monday 18 May 2009.

In the episode Grace plays Sarah Copland, a bright but terribly naive student on the verge of self-destruction. A difficult childhood drove Sarah to drink but, eventually escaping those demons, she has now come to Letherbridge University with the dream of becoming a nurse. But on becoming friends with the controlling Abi, Sarah inadvertently swaps one demon for another: anorexia.

Can Nurse Michelle Corrigan (Donnaleigh Bailey) convince Sarah she's being controlled and needs help, or will it be too late?

Series Producer Peter Lloyd says: "Grace was a fantastic find for us – she's a perfect example of what exciting, fresh talent is out there at the moment. She was a pleasure to have filming with us and I've no doubt that this is the start of a great career for her. I'm just glad we could get in there first!"

The multi-award winning Doctors airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Ö÷²¥´óÐã One and also at 6.00pm on Ö÷²¥´óÐã HD.
