Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio 2 presents Going Out With Alan Carr, which takes to the airwaves every Saturday from 25 April at 6.00pm.

Produced by Open Mike Productions, Going Out With Alan Carr will ensure listeners' Saturday nights start with a giggle with lots of interaction, music and banter.

The show will be upbeat and feel-good – perfect for getting in the mood for Saturday nights. Listeners will need to be prepared for Alan's unique sense of humour when he's joined each week by Emma Forbes, who fights to rein him in.

After finding fame at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2005, Alan has hosted a string of hit shows including Channel 4's The Friday and Sunday Night Project with Justin Lee Collins and Alan Carr's Celebrity Ding Dong.

He has also won two British Comedy Awards for Best Stand Up (2007) and Best Comedy Entertainment Personality (2008).

In March 2009, Alan won TV Personality at the TRIC Awards and Best Entertainment Performer at the Royal Television Society Awards.

Alan made his radio presenting debut on Radio 2 on Christmas Day 2007 and has since gone on to present the successful six-part series Alan Carr's Comedy Outings.

He then co-presented a Christmas Eve show with Ruth Jones in 2008 and has presented as cover on Ö÷²¥´óÐã 6 Music for the George Lamb Show and Adam & Joe Show.

Emma is a familiar voice to listeners from her time sitting in on Steve Wright In The Afternoon with Mark Radcliffe, as well as to TV viewers from her stints on Live And Kicking and Going Live on Ö÷²¥´óÐã One.
