Mark Chapman joins 5 Live Sport as regular Monday night host

Mark Chapman is joining 5 Live Sport on Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio 5 Live as the regular host of Monday evenings (7.00-10.30pm) from 8 February 2010.

Mark will present the latest sports news and live football commentary, plus the regular Monday features – the topical football debate The Monday Night Club and 5 Live Football League with Mark Clemmit.

No stranger to 5 Live, Mark has previously deputised on the football phone-in 606 and 5 Live Sport.

Mark joins 5 Live after ten years as a sports reporter and presenter on Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio 1, whilst his TV credits include presenting Final Score on Ö÷²¥´óÐã One.

Mark says: "I'm excited and honoured to be joining the biggest sports radio station in the land and can't wait to get started."

Radio 5 Live Controller Adrian Van Klaveren said: "Mark's already well-known on 5 Live through the times he's presented 606 and 5 Live Sport. He'll be a great addition to the 5 Live Sport line-up."

Friday: Colin Murray, 7.00-10.00pm

Saturday: Mark Pougatch, 12noon -7.20pm (end time varies)

Sunday: Colin Murray, 12noon -6.00pm.
