CBeebies offers something new for night-time in Spring

CBeebies, the most-watched TV channel for the under-sixes, is refreshing its bedtime schedule for Spring.

From Tuesday 6 April, Driver Dan's Storytrain and 64 Zoo Lane will join night-time favourite In The Night Garden in the Bedtime Hour line-up, followed as always by the familiar comfort of The Bedtime Story in the final slot of the day.

These programmes – already familiar to CBeebies viewers – will take children on a magical and gentle journey through stories and friendship before bedtime. And fans of Waybuloo will still be able to watch the adventures of the loveable Piplings in the morning and afternoon during weekdays on CBeebies and Ö÷²¥´óÐã Two, and at weekends on CBeebies.

Director of Ö÷²¥´óÐã Children's, Joe Godwin, says: "We are always looking at ways to keep our schedule fresh and interesting for our young viewers without causing too much disruption to routines.

"We know that the bedtime hour is an important part of families' evening routines but we're sure that children will be delighted with the new additions to the schedule."

Other exciting new additions to CBeebies to watch out for in April include ZingZillas which launches from Monday 5 April at 8.00am.

A brand-new live action music series, it is set on a tropical island paradise and follows the adventures of the best children's band in the history of music, the ZingZillas - Zak, Tang, Panzee and Drum!

This band of friends live to play and learn about fantastic music. With the help of their super cool and laid back mentor, music guru DJ Loose, and top quality musical guests, they manage to create their unique ZingZilla sound just in time for the climax of every episode, The Big Zing.

Also look out for a brand new series of Bob The Builder: Ready! Steady! Build! from Monday 12 April and Big Barn Farm from 19 April.

Notes to Editors

CBeebies remains the most watched and loved channel for the under sixes, with almost half of the target audience tuning in each week (parents and carers with children aged 0-3 and 4-6 year olds in digital homes) it reaches well over double (almost three times) the audience of its pre-school competitors. The CBeebies website regularly reaches almost a million weekly users.
