Mark Dennison joins Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio Nottingham

Mark Dennison, Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio Nottingham's newest recruit, begins his new radio show from 12noon on Monday 12 April.

Nottinghamshire's Biggest Conversation with Mark Dennison, Monday to Friday between 12noon and 2.00pm, invites listeners to discuss the topical issues of the day.

Listeners are invited to join in with the show by phone, email, text or Twitter, or track down a member of the team who will be out and about on the streets of Nottinghamshire gauging opinion on the topics being discussed within the show.

The new programme also includes a fantastic mix of music, with regular news, sports, weather and travel updates to make sure that Nottinghamshire is kept right up to date.

Mark joins Radio Nottingham after 14 years with commercial radio station, Trent FM. Born in Manchester, Mark first came to Nottingham to study for a BA Hons degree in Humanities at Trent Polytechnic.

Mark is no stranger to the airwaves, having presented on radio stations across the country including: TFM in Teesside; Viking FM in Hull, Classic Gold Network and fronting networked programming for GWR, GCap & Global Groups. Mark has also held off-air positions including Deputy Programme Controller and Acting Programme Controller at various stations.

Away from the microphone, Mark enjoys playing five-a-side football, squash, cycling, photography, wine, cooking and is the stadium announcer for Nottingham Forest FC, a role he has performed since 2004.

Mark says of his new job: "I can't wait to get started at Radio Nottingham. To be able to talk to the people from the county I love is a dream come true. I'm really looking forward to being part of a great team."

In addition Mark is also presenting the Saturday Breakfast Show on Radio Nottingham, between 6.00am and 9.00am.

Mark takes over Nottinghamshire's Biggest Conversation from Richard Spurr who is moving to present the Afternoon Show (2.00-4.00pm Monday-Friday).

Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio Nottingham broadcasts on 103.8 & 95.5FM, DAB digital radio and online via the Ö÷²¥´óÐã iPlayer.
