Former England cricket all-rounder Andrew Flintoff will present an exciting new sports show for Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio 5 Live this summer.

Freddie's World Of Sport, which kicks-off on Thursday 26 May (8-9pm in 5 Live Sport) will be co-hosted by 5 Live Sport presenter, Mark Chapman, and run throughout the summer to August.

The regular Thursday night show will feature Flintoff's entertaining and insightful views on the issues and personalities across the world of sport, along with big name guests, celebrity interviews and all the latest sports news and gossip.

Commenting on his new programme, Andrew Flintoff said: "I've always been a fan of sport on the radio and can't wait to get started on Freddie's World Of Sport. We'll be talking to the biggest names in sport and getting the inside track on what's happening across the summer's sporting action."

Radio 5 Live Deputy Controller, Jonathan Wall, said: "We think Andrew's a really exciting addition to the 5 Live line-up. We love his enthusiasm for the new show and are delighted that he's chosen to start his live radio broadcasting career with 5 Live."

Freddie's World Of Sport will cover some of the most high-profile sporting events of the summer including the England v India test series, Wimbledon, the Open Golf and much more.
