The 2011 Open from Royal St George's, live and exclusive on the Ö÷²¥´óÐã

Ö÷²¥´óÐã Sport brings live and exclusive coverage of the 140th Open Championship from Royal St George's, Sandwich from 14 to 17 July.

Coverage will be available on TV, HD, Radio, Red Button and Ö÷²¥´óÐã Online throughout the Championship.

Hazel Irvine presents the Ö÷²¥´óÐã's coverage, with the expert commentary and analysis team of Peter Alliss, Ken Brown, Mark James, Wayne Grady, Andrew Cotter and Jim Nantz. The on-course team consists of Maureen Madill, Philip Parkin and Gary Evans with reporters Dan Walker, Mark Pougatch and Russell Fuller.

Coverage begins on Wednesday 13 July on Ö÷²¥´óÐã Two with a half-hour preview programme 11.20-11.50pm. Live TV coverage of play begins at 9am on Thursday 14 July and continues daily through the competition with around 40 hours of live action.

Ö÷²¥´óÐã Red Button will broadcast comprehensive coverage on each day of The Open; Freeview viewers will be able to access live video with leaderboard; satellite and cable viewers will also be able to select a three hole option where you can see play through the 14th, 15th and 16th holes only; plus a daily 30 minute highlights package and live play outside of network coverage at the weekend.

The Ö÷²¥´óÐã Sport website will carry live streaming of the network feed (UK users only), plus the three hole option showing play through the 14th, 15th and 16th holes, along with rolling highlights, live leaderboard, live text commentary and video clips of the best bits of action. There will be blogs and tweets from web, TV and radio reporters, all the latest reports and photos with opportunities for the audience to have their say on the action.

All live coverage will be available on Ö÷²¥´óÐã iPlayer, as well as the evening highlights programme.

Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio 5 Live has extensive coverage of The Open Championship 2011.

John Inverdale and the Sony Award-winning 5 Live golf team are live from Royal St George's every day of Open week with full commentary from 10am on Thursday 14 July and Friday 15 July, and 12pm on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 July.

5 Live's golf correspondent Iain Carter heads up the commentary team alongside John Murray, Clare Balding and Alistair Bruce-Ball. Former Ryder Cup captain Bernard Gallacher once again provides expert analysis, alongside European Tour Player and leading coach Mark Roe, Ryder cup player Andrew Coltart and 5 Live's regular US analyst, former PGA and European Tour player Jay Townsend.

And Radio 2 Breakfast show host and golf fanatic Chris Evans will once again be out and about around the course providing all the colour of the event.

Nicky Campbell will host 5 Live Breakfast, 6-10am, live from Royal St George's on Thursday 14 and Friday 15 July with the early action from the course and all the latest national and international news.

To start the week there will be a 5 live sport Open Preview programme with Clare Balding live from the course on Wednesday 13 July, 7-9pm.

In addition: Ö÷²¥´óÐã One will be showing a documentary – Seve: The Legend ON Sunday 10 July at 10.25pm.
