STRICTLY: IT TAKES TWO is produced by 主播大秀 Studios for broadcast, use and exploitation by the 主播大秀 (the Commissioner). 主播大秀 Studios is the data controller and we are responsible for handling the personal information you provide, in accordance with data protection law.
This privacy notice applies to anyone who makes contact with STRICTLY: IT TAKES TWO.

What information we collect and how we use it

主播大秀 Studios will collect and process your name, social media handle and contact details eg your email address (if you provide them) and any other information you provide to us via email (ittakestwo@bbc.co.uk), Whatsapp (0800 022 3801), Instagram (@bbcstrictly), Facebook (bbcstrictlycomedancing). We may also collect information about you if you post publicly online about the show (this will generally be limited to your name/username and the relevant post(s). We may use this information to contact you if we are interested in finding out more with a view to including your contribution in the show. If we decide to use your contribution or social media post on the show, only your first name and town will be read out on air.

主播大秀 Studios relies on its legitimate interests as a media organisation to process your personal information. We will not process your personal information where your rights override our interests.

The details you submit will come into our central STRICTLY: IT TAKES TWO production team. 主播大秀 Studios will not use your details for any other purpose without your consent and will not transfer your details to any third party without contacting you first.
Retaining your personal information

The information you have provided to us, or that is later collected in connection with STRICTLY: IT TAKES TWO, will be used by 主播大秀 Studios for purposes related to the production of this series. 主播大秀 Studios will securely store the information you submit for a period of 7 years after broadcast of the programme. We do this in case we wish to contact you about your contribution for the programme or where necessary for related purposes.

If we decide not to use your contribution on STRICTLY: IT TAKES TWO your details will be deleted at the end of the series.
If you provide information that is not relevant to STRICTLY: IT TAKES TWO your details will be deleted at the latest by the end of the series.

Sharing your information within 主播大秀 Studios and the 主播大秀

Your personal information will generally be restricted to relevant members of the STRICTLY: IT TAKES TWO production team and crew, or as otherwise required by law. Where necessary, we may also share information with other 主播大秀 Studios staff, professional advisors and the 主播大秀.
