Sue MacGregor is joined by five women who were all debutantes in 1958. Elfrida Eden-Fallowfield, niece of the former prime Minister Anthony Eden. Byron biographer Fiona McCarthy, author of a book about the final season. Former model Penny Graham, daughter of the Daily Express's racing correspondent Clive Graham and the first of 鈥渢he last debs鈥 to be presented. Maggie Chilton, who's today a counselor and a psychotherapist. And Lady Diane Nutting, who was presented at court at 16 鈥 she told one member of the press in 1958 that she hoped to go on to be a film star.
