Maya and Miguel Santos, ten-year-old bilingual twins, are convinced that there is nothing they can't do, fix, improve or invent for their family, friends and pet parrot Paco. Ultimately, Maya's well-intended meddling in her family's and friends' lives leads her to create new quandaries to fix, often dragging her twin, Miguel, into her schemes!

Maya tries to be helpful, but seems to wreak havoc everywhere she goes; first at the community centre and then at the veterinary surgery.
