From the Royal Albert Hall, London, Sarah Walker introduces the conclusion of this Prom exploring the work of the German composer Stockhausen, who would have celebrated his 80th birthday this year.
The programme includes Gruppen (Groups) for three spatially separated ensembles and Kontakte for piano and percussion - referring to contact between instrumental and electronic sounds, which was written in the late 1950s.
