Charles Mackerras conducts the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and an international cast in Handel's oratorio Belshazzar. With a libretto by Charles Jennens (who wrote the text for Saul and Messiah), the work is based on the Old Testament story of the downfall of the Babylonian king.
