Celebrated French conductor Stephane Deneve conducts a programme dominated by the sea. The erotic Bacchus et Ariane Suite No 2 by the mariner-turned-composer, Albert Roussel, is followed by Rachmaninov's most popular piano concerto, which completes a Proms cycle of the composer's concertos.
