Dr Mary Ellen Weber, Vice President for Government Affairs and Policy at UT South-western Medical Centre and a former shuttle mission astronaut, talks us through the probable impact of the NASA budgets cuts.
After Mayor Bloomberg's wobbling over New York hosting the trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, we speak to Debra Burlingame, sister of the captain of the American Airlines Flight 77 which was hijacked and crashed into the Pentagon on September 11th 2001.
Danny Hopkins, the editor of Steam Railway magazine, presents his audio diary from China, which is one the last places where steam locomotives are still being used to haul revenue-earning freight trains.
