The story has gained international attention as obesity advocacy groups claim that obesity discrimination is more common than racism or sexism. An economics professor in Saudi Arabia has started a campaign encouraging women to avoid male staffed lingerie shops. She's so annoyed that women have no other choice but to discuss their underwear sizes with men that she's organising a boycott through her facebook page as public protests are illegal in Saudi Arabia.
