For the first Sunday in Lent, Brian D'Arcy introduces hymns and reflects on the disciplines of religious life.

Throughout Lent, Brian D'Arcy will be exporing some of the disciplines of religious life and this week he looks at fasting.

Music is provided by Leeds Methodist Choir, directed by Paul Dewhurst, and the organist is Thomas Leech. Hymns include Forty Days And Forty Nights and O Love, How Deep, How Broad, How High.
