Brian D'Arcy commemorates the anniversary of the death of Florence Nightingale with hymns, prayer and reflection.

Florence Nightingale was a woman whose faith motivated her life's work. Well-known as the Lady with the Lamp, she transformed nursing services and training. To commemorate her death 100 years ago this week, Brian D'Arcy reflects on her life and her contribution to the health of the nation.

The Altnagelvin Hospital Choir are this week's featured choir and hymns include "Praise my soul the King of heaven", "Brother, Sister let me serve you" and "Jesus calls us o'er the tumult". The musical director is Jim Goodman and the organist is Ian Young. The producer is Janet McLarty.
