Alison Moyet talks about Yazoo

Music and chat with Nemone, who talks to singer and former Yazoo frontwoman Alison Moyet.

Yazoo are the influential electronica duo of Alison Moyet and Vince Clarke.The band released Upstairs At Erics' in July 1982 then parted company just 12 months later on release of the second album You And Me Both, which reached Number 1 in the UK. They performed only 24 concerts worldwide, but left an indelible mark on pop. Recently the band reunited to for the first time in over 25 years. Reconnected Live, recorded at their reunion shows in summer 2008, features classic tracks from Yazoo's albums, including Only You, Don't Go and Situation plus tracks and Nobody's Diary, performed live for the first time ever. Alison Moyet will be joining the Lunchtime show to talk about how it felt to revisit the songs.
