Brian D'Arcy introduces hymns and reflection for the first week of Advent.
Brian D'Arcy celebrates the first week of Advent and the start of the Christian year. As preparations for Christmas get underway, he looks at the spiritual significance of the season. This week: repentance. The featured singers are the choir of Selwyn College, Cambridge directed by Sarah MacDonald. The organist is Ian Tindale. Hymns include "On Jordan's Bank", "O for a closer walk with God" and "Lord Jesus, think on me".
