Ian Hunt meets 2010 主播大秀 Cymru Wales Sports Personality of the Year Gareth Bale. Eddie Butler meets Andy Powell, and Richard Parks is in the studio. Presented by Jason Mohammad.

After a sensational year for Tottenham, the 27 times capped Gareth Bale, widely regarded as one of the finest young footballers in the world, was this week honoured as the 2010 主播大秀 Cymru Wales Sports Personality of the Year. Ian Hunt went to meet him at their training ground in London.

Richard Parks joins us in studio, before jetting off for the start of his world first 737 Challenge. Former Wales rugby international Parks's quest to stand on the highest mountain on each of the world's seven continents and travel to the geographical North Pole and South Pole, all against a seven month clock, will see him enter the record books as the first man to achieve this feat. Parks tells us what motivated him to devote so much time, energy and effort to raising over one million pounds for charity.

Another man who has been in the Welsh back row is Andy Powell, now with Wasps, who makes his first return to a Welsh region this Sunday when he faces the Newport Gwent Dragons in the Heineken Cup. Powell is a man of action, whose deeds have often spoken more loudly than his words. Who better to talk to him in London than our own wordsmith and a fellow former Wales number eight, Eddie Butler?

As ever, we will have all the goals that matter - and those that don't - from the championship peaks scaled by Cardiff City and Swansea City.

Plus, we look at the FAW's attempt to bring the 2013 UEFA Under-21 Championship to Wales. It's not easy winning the rights to host these tournaments; ask England...
