In September 2010 the property maintenance firm Connaught folded leaving 1600 people without work and owing around 拢100m to creditors. So what has been the impact of its collapse on a sector that mainly provides social housing? John Waite investigates. He talks to former employees, subcontractors and sector experts about boxes of unpaid invoices, poor business practice and questionable accounting policies.
