Jack tries to persuade Ronnie to get out of the house more, but is frustrated when he gets little response from her. Roxy鈥檚 delighted when Michael wants to move in together. She suggests a day trip to Southend to Ronnie, but Ronnie refuses. Roxy鈥檚 annoyed that Ronnie shows no interest in her life, and warns her that she鈥檚 driving Jack away. Michael confronts Ronnie about what she said at the boxing ring, and wants to know why she鈥檚 so against him. Ronnie tells him it was because he wasn鈥檛 there for Kat when Tommy died. Michael thinks she鈥檚 sick in the head, Ronnie鈥檒l never understand Kat鈥檚 pain as she still has her baby. Ronnie wants Jack to look after James as she鈥檚 going out. Annoyed and thinking Ronnie鈥檚 just messing him around, Jack storms out. Ronnie leaves James with Roxy, lying that she鈥檚 going to the Minute Mart. She leaves the flat and heads over the Square, walking past the Minute Mart, and out of sight.

Alfie鈥檚 confident that everything鈥檚 now back to normal, but Kat misses Jean. Kat visits Jean and confesses how depressed she is about Tommy鈥檚 death. She鈥檚 devastated when Jean tells her she won鈥檛 be coming back to Walford. Kat returns home and tries to put on a cheerful front, but is delighted when Jean walks through the door; she鈥檚 changed her mind and come home.

It鈥檚 Lauren鈥檚 17th birthday, and Max and Tanya share a moment when they reflect on their past relationship. Max tells Tanya he鈥檚 content with Vanessa, but he was happier with Tanya.

Ricky鈥檚 upset that his family is split up and is increasingly concerned about Whitney. Alfie tries to comfort him when he鈥檚 missing Bianca.

Tamwar and Afia try to escape Zainab鈥檚 constant nagging about preparations for their engagement party.
