Ian Payne sits in for Tony Livesey, with live coverage of the reaction to the death of Osama Bin Laden.

5 live's Phil Mackies talks to who Americans who have gathered at Ground Zero. Rhod Sharp hears from young people in Boston.

Sarah in London calls the programme to talk about her father who was in the first building of the World Trade Center to be struck by the planes. She was on the phone with him and heard the planes go into the building. He was lucky to make it out alive but many of his friends and colleagues did not.

We hear from Zubair Khan - a journalist in Abbottabad. He says police told him that a woman had survived the attack on the compound - and that she was Bin Laden's second wife.

Ian interviews Charles Wolf in New York; his wife Kathryn was one of sixty seven Britons who died in the World Trade Centre.

There's also an interview with Graham Knight whose son Ben died when the RAF Nimrod plane he was in exploded over Afghanistan in 2006.

And away from the death of Bin Laden, Ian hears from John Higgins following his victory in the snooker.
