Reading knocked out Cardiff in the semi-finals with a stunning three-nil victory in the Welsh capital, while Swansea finally disposed of Nottingham Forest with Darren Pratley's halfway line heroics at the Liberty Stadium.
The final will be an emotional day in particular for Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers, who was once in charge at Reading.
