Shaun Keaveny takes a rib-tickling satirical romp through the day's news and events, to the perfect morning soundtrack for any music-lover; from northern soul to new folk; rock 'n' roll to indie disco. All this plus young author Ben Brooks joins Shaun after 9am. His novel 'Grow Up' follows the Jasper who just wants to get on in the world, but life is distracting. He's got his A-levels to contend with, his mother pushing him to overachieve, weekly visits to his psychologist, come-downs, sex chat rooms, YouTube suicides and pregnant one-night-stands. And then there's his step-dad, the murderer.

'Grow Up' is a coming of age novel written by 19 year old Ben Brooks. He joins Shaun this morning to discuss the book and if he likes the tag 'voice of a generation'.
