Make a track with record producer Steve Levine - help him choose the vocals.

All this week, exclusively for the Early Breakfast Show, grammy award winning record producer Steve Levine will be creating a brand new tune from the elements of well-loved classic tracks. On Monday the foundations were laid, with the help of Early Show listeners, who chose the drum track (Ant Music - Adam and the Ants) for Hawk's frankenstein-like song. On Tuesday they picked the bass line (A Forest - The Cure), on Wednesday the task was to pick an infectious guitar riff to lay over the rhythm section (The Passenger - Iggy Pop), and today you decide upon the best vocal in the world, ever. The track has been built up by suggestions throughout the week and tomorrow Steve will hand-deliver the new track to the studio for Hawk to play.

You can also catch Steve Levine on 主播大秀 Radio 6 Music tomorrow night as he uncovers the magic and wizardry of record production in 'The Record Producers: Pink Floyd' on Friday 7th October (2100-2230). This exclusive, extended version of the programme is an in-depth look at the recording of the song Breathe, from Dark Side Of The Moon; as well as the discovery of an early recording which Steve found by accident hidden on the Arnold Layne tape!

Steve also presents The Producer's Playlist: Pink Floyd Friday 7th October (2230-2300) in which he presents a personal choice of Pink Floyd highlights including See Emily Play, San Tropez, from the Meddle album, and The Division Bell's High Hopes.
