Zainab finally gives in to Yusef's game-playing and flees from the Square. Alfie and Kat attempt to expose Mandy's true colours, and Christian and Syed receive an unexpected guest.

Amira is back in Walford and wastes no time calling the Masoods. Yusef intercepts her calls, telling her she鈥檚 wasting her time before hanging up. Yusef manipulates Zainab into feeling shamed over slapping Bushra and convinces her that she needs to leave Walford. At their party, Syed and Christian announce their engagement as Amira walks in. Distraught, she storms out. Syed follows her to the Vic; he is floored by the revelation that they have a baby together - Yasmin. Later, Amira falls prey to Yusef鈥檚 scheming as he tells her that Syed will try and take Yasmin away from her. As Yusef and Zainab prepare to leave for Pakistan, Masood arrives and is disgusted with his ex-wife鈥檚 behaviour. Feeling the pressure, Zainab asks for more pills. Zainab and Yusef head off for the airport in secret. Amira presents Syed with an ultimatum - he can see Yasmin as long as Christian has nothing to do with her.

Alfie is worrying over Mandy鈥檚 hold over Ian - in particular, his wallet. Alfie, Ian, Kat and Mandy drink upstairs in the Vic where Alfie prepares to spring a honey trap plan to expose Mandy. Alfie is left stung, however, when Mandy knocks him back. When Alfie鈥檚 plan is exposed, Ian further complicates matters by mistaking Kat and Alfie for swingers. Kat admits she likes the new Ian, lambasting Alfie for not letting him change.

Carol returns to find a drunk Lauren in the caf茅. Losing her temper, Carol reminds her niece that it鈥檚 been a year since Billie died, leaving Lauren mortified. As the pair chat, the ice seems to thaw between them. Lauren almost confesses all about Tanya鈥檚 cancer.

Whitney finally agrees to go on a date with Tyler.
