Two south coast rivals with very different agendas meet as Brighton and Hove Albion welcome Portsmouth to The AMEX. Portsmouth's mood has been less jubilant, with the club having descended into administration for the second time in two years. The subsequent points deduction rocked the club to the core, and means that Pompey face a relegation battle to stay in the Championship.

Michael Appleten's beleaguered but talented Portsmouth side are sure to provide tough opposition for Brighton, though Albion will be looking to complete the double over them, having beaten Pompey one-nil at Fratton Park earlier in the season.
