With Lucy worried for her dad, Phil steps in and helps her pay off some of the debt Ian owed. Ben and Jay worry that Phil may have had something to do with Ian's disappearance.

Ben tells Phil that Ian鈥檚 missing. Phil warns Lucy not to phone the police - Jane could take Bobby. Jay panics when Ben admits he told Ian everything. Lucy struggles in the caf茅, fending off questions from Mo and Zainab and is grateful when Phil pays Janine a cash instalment. Phil offers to track down Ian using his bank details. Christian covers the cafe and Lucy races to her exam but misses it. Jay worries that Phil could鈥檝e killed Ian. Ben tells Lucy to call the police. She鈥檚 dialling when Tanya calls round on Jane鈥檚 behalf. Ben asks if Phil鈥檚 killed Ian. Phil swears he鈥檇 do anything to protect Ben. Lucy arrives with Ian鈥檚 bank details and pleads with Phil to find him.
Tanya鈥檚 annoyed Cora鈥檚 asked Lauren to speak to Alice about Derek. Alice is excited Lauren wants to hang out. Cora tells Derek Alice might stop by, but Tanya declares she didn鈥檛 want to see him. Alice is reluctant to leave, and visits Derek on Cora鈥檚 advice. The conversation鈥檚 awkward. Derek flares up when Alice admits Tanya鈥檚 told her about his past. Cowed, Alice leaves. Cora gives Alice Derek鈥檚 letter. Derek violently confronts Tanya - she鈥檚 dead if she sticks the knife in again.
Tyler buys two ornamental lions from Zainab鈥檚 charity shop offerings from Afia. Zainab discovers they鈥檙e worth 拢200. She lies her mother left them to her, but Tyler鈥檚 unmoved. Andrew鈥檚 appalled and squares up to him. Patrick pretends to choke. Andrew performs the Heimlich manoeuvre. Rose heralds him as a hero. Andrew returns the lions to a guilty Zainab.
Janine wants a church wedding for Michael and arranges a visit from Reverend Stevens. Michael jokes about Janine鈥檚 past three marriages. Embarrassed, Janine admits she was only doing it for Michael.
