In the first of three special editions, Kirsty Wark and guests including Mark Thomas and Natalie Haynes take in highlights of the world's largest arts festival. As well as Fringe theatre and comedy, the line-up includes 2008: Macbeth, a spectacular reinterpretation of Shakespeare from Poland.

The panel also give their verdict on the film that closed this year's Edinburgh International Film Festival: Brave, the latest 3D animation from Disney/Pixar which is set in Scotland.
