The funeral of PC Nicola Hughes in Manchester, and Virgin boss Sir Richard Branson reacts to the flawed bidding process for the West Coast mainline.

The mother of five year-old, April Jones, appeals for help in finding her daughter missing from her home town of Machynlleth in mid-Wales. At a press conference Coral Jones said the family were "desperate for news."

The funeral of PC Nicola Hughes, who was shot dead two weeks ago in Greater Manchester, takes place at the City's Cathedral. The 23 year old died alongside her colleague PC Fiona Bone as they responded to a call to a burglary. We hear tributes from the Chaplain of Tameside and memories of Nicola as a police officer.

And the head of Virgin, Sir Richard Branson, describes the flawed bidding process for the West Coast mainline as "a fiasco".
