He's being investigated by police this morning - after he posted messages on Twitter apparently encouraging people to protest outside the home of a gay couple who successfully sued the owner of a B&B for discrimination.
Gay and human rights campaigners want the police to take action. Speaking to us on 5 live Breakfast this morning, Mr Griffin said he was speaking up for what he called 'the ordinary people of Britain'
You may not agree with what he says - but should he have the right to say it?
