Still craving Joey's attention, Lauren is distraught when he makes a play for an old flame. Alfie feels guilty for not trusting Kat but he soon makes a shocking discovery.

Finding the stub of the receipt from the ring that Kat pawned, Alfie worries about its disappearance. Paranoid, he watches Kat laughing with Michael, before overhearing her on the phone saying 鈥業 love you鈥�. Kat claims it was her dad; Alfie鈥檚 not convinced. He redials. It was. Charlie鈥檚 not well so Kat鈥檚 going to visit. Michael arrives to give Kat a lift. Really? Alfie questions whether he鈥檚 a soft touch following advice from Jack and Michael. Alfie finds the ring Kat pawned. How has she got it back?

Max has bought an ornamental reindeer, but the nose doesn鈥檛 light-up. Joey receives a court form. Alice tells Joey she wants them and Derek to be together on Christmas Day. Joey doesn鈥檛. Max receives a replacement reindeer. Tanya鈥檚 unsure about Max鈥檚 efforts; she hasn鈥檛 had her scan results yet. Max explains to Joey: Lauren鈥檚 accident scared him and he wants his family close on Christmas - Joey鈥檚 not invited. Later at R&R, Lauren watching, Joey asks Lucy to go back to hers. Once there, he tells her he鈥檚 in love with someone else and leaves. Joey goes to Max鈥檚 house. He ticks the 鈥榩lead guilty鈥� box on the court form and punches Rudolph鈥檚 nose.

Sharon and Jack bicker about Phil. Sharon tells Lola Phil came clean to Social Services. Lola鈥檚 gutted. Sharon tries to reassure Lola but Shirley thinks it鈥檚 game over.

Bianca鈥檚 worried about how she鈥檒l afford a Christmas tree but rejects Derek鈥檚 baubles. Later, Carol, Morgan and Liam reveal to Bianca a homemade cardboard Christmas tree decorated with Pat鈥檚 earrings.

Denise eyes-up Ian鈥檚 fruit and veg, later revealing she鈥檚 setting up a Caribbean fruit and veg stall outside the Minute Mart. Kim hints to Ray she wants an engagement ring for Christmas. Ray makes a quick escape.

Fatboy moves into the B&B.
