Any family with a parent earning more than 60,000 pounds lose their child benefits, but families with two parents who both earn less than 50,000 pounds each will not. Is that fair?

Are the changes to child benefits "fair"?

Any family with a parent earning more than 60,000 pounds will LOSE their child benefits under new rules today. But families with 2 parents who BOTH earn less than 50,000 each WON'T be affected....so that means one household could have a total income of 98 thousand pounds get to KEEP their payment.

Should families who earn that much get any extra cash from the State?

The government says working it out on the SEPARATE incomes of EACH is the fairest way to sort out child benefits - do YOU agree?

Should child benefit be worked out on the salary of EACH parent - or would it be better to add up a family's TOTAL income and work it out from there?

Are the changes to child benefits "fair"?
