Series following midwives in Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. New dad Matt Heffer is overwhelmed by the birth of his twins and we travel to Mallaig with midwife Catherine MacDonald.

We visit the Multiple Birth Support Group where children have great fun playing, while their parents share tips and advice. When Matt and Ainhoa 's twins are been born, Matt is quite overwhelmed by the experience.

Alison has come from her home in Keiss 120 miles away to visit her son Alex in the Special Care Baby Unit. She is delighted with his progress. And we follow Lochaber Midwife Catherine MacDonald to Mallaig where mum to be Christina is eagerly anticipating the arrival of her baby.
