A year on from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games, this film explores how far they've got in terms of inspiring a generation of kids to get involved in sport.

A year on from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games, Newsround reporter Martin Dougan explores the legacy of the games, and hears the incredible stories of kids whose lives have been transformed by the sporting success of last summer - from grass-roots to elite level. Meet Yasmin, born with Cerebral Palsy, who was inspired by the Paralympics to take up wheelchair racing; Nathan, whose BMX club in the shadow of the Olympic Park has opened his eyes to new opportunities; and Abigail, who is hopeful of following in the footsteps of Jade Jones to compete for Team GB at Taekwondo.
