Children in Crisis
Children in Crisis has been working in conflict-affected countries for the past 20 years. At the heart of our work is the belief that literacy and education improve health and livelihoods, unite communities and build peace.
The charity focuses on the hardest-to-reach, forgotten communities where literacy levels amongst adults are low, and schooling for children is severely limited.
Children in Crisis听is a small team of 14 based in south London, have an office in Kabul, and work in close partnership with local grass-roots organisations who share our aims and ambitions. We are currently assisting children and communities in Afghanistan, the DR Congo, Liberia and Sierra Leone.
