Legendary Canadian author Margaret Atwood is appearing at the Edinburgh International Book Festival this weekend. She'll be bringing her new novel MaddAddam into the Culture Studio.

Francesca Simon is another author who needs no introduction - at least to the under twelves. Her Horrid Henry books are cooking up a storm and now she returns with a new book about a Britain under the sway of Norse Gods.

Cinefringe is the Edinburgh Fringe's only cinema festival. Run on a shoe-string it has nevertheless managed to sift through almost 500 short films from 45 countries to bring the best to Fringe cinema lovers.

And the winners of the 2013 So You Think You're Funny competition are Edd Hedges and Demi Lardner - the first joint winners of the competition in twenty five years. They'll join us to celebrate.
